CU Plastic Surgery is honored to perform body contouring surgery for weight loss transformations on ABC’s “Extreme Weight Loss” Season 5 on Tuesdays at 9e/8c/7m.
“Extreme Weight Loss™” documents the journeys of “super obese” participants whose lives have become unmanageable because of their weight. This season, 19 cast members will not only set out to transform their bodies — by losing up to half of their body weight — but they will also courageously transform who they are as individuals.
Drs. David Mathes, Mickey Gordon and Brooke French from CU Plastic Surgery join Chris and Heidi Powell, and the show’s medical director, Dr. Holly Wyatt, for Season 5. The CU Plastic Surgery team performs body-contouring surgery for Extreme Weight Loss participants, helping them look their best following their life-changing weight loss transformations.
The show takes place at the Anschutz Health and Wellness Center, which offers some of the country’s most advanced research and science-based expertise, focusing on a comprehensive wellness approach including weight loss and management, fitness and nutrition. CU Plastic Surgery is located within the Anschutz Health and Wellness Center and provides an array of plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures.
“Extreme Weight Loss” is produced by 3 Ball Entertainment. JD Roth, Todd A. Nelson, Matt Assmus and Brant Pinvidic are the executive producers.
